Features recordings of everything that was worthwhile from the complete life of the band including live mixes and remastered mixes of the songs from the NOWEHERE FAST Tape.
So finally all these songs are available. Hundreds of hours in the Arc-UP dungeon with the trusty 12 track recorder, a very step learning curve for us all. There were many different versions of each song (some never to be heard again). Some were slated for release on the successor to the “Sandpaper EP” but the wheels fell off before that happened. Not to mention the money necessary to produce these recordings professionally. Still we can’t complain – great gigs with Swervedriver, gigs in Brisbane, Sydney, Wollongong, Armidale (signing autographs for fans!!!) Cessnock Jail, Andy falling out of the tree and above all being told to turn down. It was an unreal time and we still all feel very lucky to be part of it. People still approach me and tell me how much sandpaper meant to them, which is what it is all about. Enjoy these old gems. Hear the pain, love, mistakes and the fierce. I’m fucking proud. Aussie music In the vein of Painters and Dockers, Redgum and Cosmic Psychos. They have the story telling finesse of an off his face Nick Cave but yet with the wit and mastery of the Australian language that good ole Rodney Rude the word smith possesses. The Australian Flogging Molly I dare say. This is Aussie rock at it's finest. Great tunes with fist pumping choruses to yell at the neighbours.
